June begins with a new moon, partial solar eclipse at 11 degrees in Gemini. And although eclipses tend to be pretty intense, this one looks way easier than the energy we have seen for the last couple of months.
There is a stabilizing trine to Saturn in Libra that should keep the Gemini energy rather mellow. Adding to this we have three personal (Mercury, Venus, Mars) planets in Earthy Taurus, keeping the personal life on an even keel. It looks like a nice beginning.
On the 4th, Jupiter moves into Taurus bringing its bigger than life energy to this Venus ruled Earth sign for the next 12 months. Taurus likes stability. It is also a creative energy. Jupiter tends to make things larger and generally better. It should be a bit of a relief to get all that energy out of fire and into some of the less demanding energies.
Taurus’s preference for security and material goods should benefit from Jupiter’s visit, too. We will probably notice an improvement in the economy this year. Taurus is not much of a risk taker. Things should settle down a bit.
Meanwhile, on the 2nd, Mercury has moved into its own sign, Gemini, where it is very comfortable, communications and quick thinking will be highlighted.
Venus enters Gemini on the 9th, Venus gets a bit fidgety and flighty here, and she tends toward drama and likes a lot of attention. It is a good time to depend more on mental energy than creativity.
The first three weeks of June look pretty easygoing. That should be a relief after the last few months, a real breather.
The only sign of discord in this time is as Mercury hits the first few degrees of Cancer. From the 17th to the 29th, that will be the first activation of the Cardinal tee square.
Shortly after, the Sun follows it into that space, but it begins with Mercury, communication and quick thinking.
On the 21st, the Summer Solstice, the Sun moves into Cancer and we are again in the Cardinal signs and things get more intense again.
The intensity of the 21st is rather gentle, as the day’s energy is the Sun’s trine to Neptune . Neptune is dreamy and spiritual, a little off the planet in its energy. Just now Neptune is in its own sign (Pisces) where it is strongest. It is best experienced from a spiritual perspective.
June 25-30 bring us back into the Cardinal Grand Cross energy that began last year. Only this year it is more of a Cardinal tee-square as Saturn has moved on out of orb. But it has Uranus and Pluto in it and that is a lot of energy for one area of the chart. While their square is not exact this year, it is getting pretty close.
It starts with Uranus energy exact on the 25th but close enough to count for several days before and after. Uranus is a quick, explosive energy that demands change.
It is just beginning its transit of Aries and Aries really magnifies this energy. It is happening at 4 degrees, Look for planets at 4 degrees especially in Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) It will be in your energy even if the degrees are 2-9 degrees.
On the 27th, the Sun opposes Pluto (which squares Uranus). This is at 8 degrees of Cardinal signs, plus of minus about three degrees.
This is a tremendous energy in the early degrees of a lot of signs.
This energy should give us a taste of the Uranus, Pluto squares that begin in earnest next year.
Pluto is the energy of deep transformation. Uranus and Pluto were the predominate energy of the 1960’s. But in the sixties they were conjunct in Virgo a rather easy going place for this energy. Not so much when they are squaring in Capricorn and Aries, this is extremely strong energy in extremely demanding signs. Starting next year and for several years beyond there will be 8 exact squares of the two planets. When this is over, it will feel like a different world.
But in this particular tee square, we should look out into the world and see lots of protests in the streets. Objections all around as to how the world is going, especially dissatisfaction with government and business, a feeling of unease in security in the home. As the other personal planets move to this point over the summer, it will go on for a time. It begins late in June.
